Brilharts are coveted due to their popularity among the jazz greats of the mid 20th century. Mouthpieces with early serial numbers such as this one are extremely rare to come across. It is in excellent shape - no scratches on the interior or exterior of the mouthpiece. The white bite plate has a slight tooth indentation (it was clearly loved and used by its previous owner!). This wouldn’t affect the playability, however, especially if you’re someone that uses mouthpiece patches. Great Neck, NY Brilharts are especially sought after and a rare find on the market.
