Just in is this cool Freddie Gregory Model F in a 6 for alto saxophone. Freddie was one of the greats of the hand made mouthpiece business. This mouthpiece has been played a lot but is still in great condition. The standout feature of the Model F is the brass shank ring support which is lined on the inside of the shank. The outer body, beak, and shank are all in good physical shape.

These pieces are conceptually similar to a classic Meyer but beyond that they are also quite different. Its inner dimensions consist of a medium chamber and open throat leading into curved inner side walls and a long, subtle baffle slope. A very flexible player that will take a lot of air and can be pushed hard if desired. All while maintaining a full and precise sonic character.
