The Redwood Hand Hammered Copper is the original KB Sax neck model and was inspired by the sound and tonal feel of the earlier Selmer Balanced Action. It features a colorful core sound that maintains a powerful focus from the bottom of the horn and throughout the altissimo range as well as at any dynamic level.

The Redwood is made in Hand Hammered Copper, their signature design. The 99.99% pure copper is strengthened through their hand hammering process, resulting in a uniquely complex and richly textured sound with a resonant presence. Compared to the Canyon and Vanguard models, the Redwood neck is slightly less mid-tone concentrated and offers a more free blowing playing experience.
