All 5 models are made of STEEL EBONITE – which has earned the distinction of being “the perfect mouthpiece material.” “Meliphone Special” – The “Meliphone Special” saxophone mouthpiece has a clarinet designed chamber. Made of very good rubber, these make really nice classical pieces. It plays with a buzzy edge with a big thick sound, similar to Charlie Parker.
