This is a rare original lacquer Jerome Thibouville-Lamy C melody saxophone from the early 1900s France. It is quite uncommon to find one of these in the USA, and if your thing is rare early French saxophones, this would be a worthy example to add to your collection. It has old (could be original) pads, and it is in good physical and cosmetic condition. It was owned by a casual player in rural West Ireland and was extremely well cared-for over the years. He likely bought it through a British distributor like Dallas (which was also behind the more famous Grafton saxophone in the 1950s).
