This is a vintage Series III King Super 20 silver sonic tenor. This horn was made at the King factory in Cleveland and has a single socket sterling neck and the classic King Super 20 sound. The classic sunburst engraving on the low B and Bb pad cups are still clearly visible. Another special feature is the sterling silver neck and bell, which is what differentiates this as a Silversonic.
This horn is ready for many years of playing! It’s been rebuilt using Pisoni pro pads and brass resonators. Cleveland-era Silver Sonic tenor’s in this kind of shape just don’t come around very often. Don’t miss your opportunity to add this one to your arsenal!
